Benefits of AP Program at CIC Waterloo

Taking AP courses and exams at CIC Waterloo can help students:

  • Stand out on University applications. AP courses on a student’s transcript shows that they’ve challenged themselves with the most rigorous courses available to them. And success on an AP exam shows that they’re ready for University-level coursework.
  • Earn University credit and/or skip introductory courses in college. Most four-year universities in the United States, Canada —as well as many institutions in more than 100 other countries—grant students’ credit, placement, or both for qualifying AP exam scores.

There are currently 38 courses and exams available through the AP Program. A complete list of courses can be found below: At CIC Waterloo we offer qualified students the opportunity to write as many AP exams as they wish.
