Canadian Independent College (CIC) represents excellence in preparing students for entrance into Universities and Colleges throughout the world. Post Secondary education is a vital piece of the puzzle in an ever evolving world. In order to prepare our students for their post secondary studies, we have integrated an online learning platform into our program. Students LOVE it! As an online and traditional academic school we find purpose, passion, and meaning educating young minds. All staff at the school play an important role ensuring students are trained to be adaptable, resilient, and resourceful so they can manage the demands of future post secondary courses. It is not by coincidence that we have a 100% post secondary placement record.
As students learn the Ontario Ministry of Education’s academic curriculum at CIC they also learn how to learn, think for themselves, collaborate with others, give presentations, and be a part of their community. Canadian Independent College has a strong team that works together to facilitate each student’s growth academically, ethically, emotionally, and physically. Being mindful that we are educating the whole person helps us to ensure students are prepared and have the tools to fulfill their academic goals at Canadian Independent College and as they continue their academic journey at universities and colleges throughout the world.
The environment at Canadian Independent College is peaceful. With many of our students coming from dense urban cities it is often a healing and calming experience for them, sometimes unknowingly. Being part of a smaller school community of one hundred students maximum has its advantages. I love that I know each student’s name and can meet with them one on one and discuss the path ahead.
It is and continues to be a privilege to work with so many ambitious and good young students. We look forward to meeting you at Canadian Independent College and wish each of our students success in their academic endeavours.
